Delta Sigma Phi has a long history of success at Shorter and nationally. In its 108 year history, the fraternity has grown to become one of the most powerful national organizations.

The fraternity prides itself on the amount of executive-level leadership training that every member receives while an undergraduate and alumni.

Founded in 1852, Phi Mu is a women's organization which provides personal and academic development, service to others, commitment to excellence, and lifelong friendship through a shared tradition. Phi Mu encourages its members to imagine, believe and achieve their aspirations. Phi Mu contributes over $500,000 annually to the Children's Miracle Network. Phi Mu Chapters support 170 hospitals throughout the country.

Philanthropy: Breast Cancer Awareness

Zeta Tau Alpha, founded in 1898, is the 3rd largest national sorority in the United States. Stretching from coast to coast, our sisters contribute their time and talents towards spreading breast cancer awareness to women. Collectively, ZTA has donated $1.6 million to the Susan G. Komen Foundation since 1992. Our chapter at Shorter College also plans fun sisterhood events such as formals, date nights, mixers, intramural sports, and inter-greek activities.

Mascot: Anything Irish!
Philanthropy: Various local philanthropies

Epsilon Sigma is a local service and social sorority present on "the hill" since 1879. They have the opportunity to serve the Rome community by working with local nursing homes, participating in yard cleanups, and volunteering for other local organizations.
