Dr. Crews received her Ph.D. from Georgia State University. She received a Master of Arts degree in English and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Mississippi College. Dr. Crews has experience as a graduate teaching assistant and writing consultant at Georgia State University. She also taught at Mississippi College and served as associate editor for the Eudora Welty Newsletter / Eudora Welty Review.
