SUBMISSIONS

The magazine accepts submissions in the categories of art, non-fiction, poetry, and short stories.

The Chimes offers writers of poetry and short stories a chance to compete for cash prizes in the annual creative writing contest. Additionally, The Chimes offers awards for artwork as well. While all submissions will be considered for publication, prizes, however, are only awarded to students enrolled at Shorter College. Results of the contest will be announced at the Release Party, which will be held in Martha’s Cellar on Tuesday, April 17th, 2007.
