To Kill a Mockingbird

Dramatized by Christopher Sergel; Based on the book by Harper Lee
Nov. 13-16 at 8pm and Nov. 17-18 at 2pm
Callaway Theatre

In a 1930s small Alabama town, young Scout Finch leans about racism and how it can divide a community as her father, Atticus, defends a black man accused of raping a white woman. In this revised drama, Jean Louise Finch narrates her memories of growing up amidst gentility and vulgarity, wisdom and ignorance, tolerance and hate.

Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel is adapted for the stage while remaining true to the writer’s voice and her gift for the Southern Gothic.
