Shorter College Receives Grant from TG to Fund Scholarships for Residents of the Open Door Children's Home

Shorter College has received a $23,160 grant from TG for a scholarship program to help neglected or abused children. TG is a public, nonprofit corporation that helps create access to higher education for millions of families and students through its role as an administrator of the Federal Family Education Loan program (FFELP). Hawks Football Kicks Off  "Our Team, Our Town, Our Time" Campaign

The Shorter College Hawks football team announced the "kick-off" of their new football season ticket campaign on Wednesday: "Our Team, Our Town, Our Time." This is the football team's fourth season and marks the first complete senior class to come through Shorter, most having played since the Hawks' first season in 2004. Read more>

Shorter College Announces Promotion of Facilities Management Leadership Team

Shorter College President Dr. Harold E. Newman today announced the promotion of two members of the college’s facilities management leadership team. Dick Taylor, who had served as director of facilities management, was promoted to assistant vice president of facilities, and Jeff Agan, assistant director of facilities management, was promoted to director of the department.
