Boddie,Trippe Crowned Homecoming King and Queen at Shorter University
September 24, 2012 - Quay Boddie, asenior Sport Management major from LaGrange, Ga., and Courtney Trippe, a senior Communication major from Villa Rica, Ga., were crowned Homecoming King and Queen during halftime of Shorter University’s Homecoming game on Saturday, Sept. 22.
Boddie, a tight end on the Hawks football team, is a member of the Shorter Orientation Staff. He also served as co-president of the Shorter University chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Boddy is the son ofTameka Boddie.
Trippe serves as the media coordinator for both the football and track teams. She also is a member of the Shorter Relations Society and WestRome Baptist Church Leadership. Trippe is the daughter of Alan and Missy Trippe.
