Graduates awarded Shorter University’s Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship June 6, 2011 - Two graduates were recently awarded the Shorter University Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship. They will begin classes at Shorter in August 2011. The Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship provides tuition for eight semesters, excluding summers. To qualify for this scholarship, a transfer student must hold at least a 3.5 grade point average and have completed at least 24 semester hours. Scholarship recipients must then maintain a 3.25 cumulative grade point average at Shorter. Shorter’s fall semester begins August 18.
