Shorter University’s Theatre Department to present “The Philadelphia Story”
September 27, 2010 - The Shorter University Theatre Department will present “The Philadelphia Story” Sept. 30 through Oct. 3 and Oct. 7 through Oct. 10 inside Shorter’s Callaway Theatre. Nightly performances begin at 7:30 with Sunday matinees starting at 2 p.m.
“The Philadelphia Story,” a 1939 American comedic play, tells the story of a socialite whose wedding plans are complicated by the simultaneous arrival of her ex-husband and an attractive journalist.
Members of the cast include Elizabeth Telford, Chris Lewis, Jamel Booth, Ellen Buice, John Carucci, Chris Vizurraga, Emily Duke, Levi Penley, Koby Parker, Jennifer Holcombe, Ariel Gill, Kristina Kennedy, Elizabeth McDonnell, Miranda Rossi, Sarah Brackett and Vandi Enzor.
