Shorter Baseball's Breast Cancer Awareness Day, "Striking Out Breast Cancer"

February 8, 2010 - February 27, 2010 will mark the first annual “Striking Out Breast Cancer” game, when Shorter Hawk’s Baseball, Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority and Softball players team up with the Breast Center at Floyd Medical in a not-for-profit fundraiser to support breast cancer awareness and breast cancer victims. 

The Shorter Hawks will take on Auburn-Montgomery on this day for a 12:00pm double header at the Robert H. Ledbetter Baseball Complex.  Come watch the Hawks and show your support as they take the field on this memorable day with all donations and proceeds going towards further breast cancer awareness and treatment.  “Striking Out Breast Cancer” T-shirts and pink Shorter Baseball Hats will be on sale during the game or can be ordered by contacting Coach Matt Larry at mlarry@shorter.edu.
