March 26 - Sandra Terry has been named assistant vice president for academic projects at Shorter College.

In this role, Terry is responsible for the coordination of academic projects related to the college’s strategic plan. She will also oversee a campus wide internship program and coordinate service learning experiences within each degree program offered by the college.

From 2006 until 2009, Terry served as assistant vice president of Shorter College’s Professional Studies Program and previously held the position of associate dean of students for the Professional Studies Program for two years. Terry also served as director of student services for Shorter’s School of Professional Programs from 2002 until 2004.

A 1988 graduate of Shorter College, Terry went on to complete her master’s degree in college student personnel at Bowling Green State University.
