Shorter College Presents An Afternoon of Opera

The Shorter College School of the Arts will present “An Afternoon of Opera Scenes” on Sunday, April 20, at 3 p.m. in Shorter College’s Callaway Theatre. An encore performance is scheduled for Monday, April 21, at 5 p.m. The public is invited to attend either performance at no charge.

Under the direction of Assistant Professor of Music Dr. Regina Zona, 12 Shorter students will perform scenes from the world’s greatest operas including Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, Cosi fan tutte, Werther, Manon, Lucia di Lammermoor, Merry Wives of Windsor, Little Women, and A Little Night Music. All scenes will be sung in the original languages with English supertitles.
