Shorter College Opera Theatre Holds Fundraiser Dinner

The Shorter College Opera Theatre will present its fund-raiser, “Spaghetti and Song: Viva la Venezia!” on Saturday, Nov. 3, at 7:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 each and may be purchased by contacting the Shorter College box office at (706) 233-7288 or boxoffice@shorter.edu.

The evening will include a lasagna dinner and tiramisu dessert served by Shorter’s opera singers. Students and faculty will perform opera excerpts including selections from The Barber of Seville, La Rondine, Norma, and The Gondoliers.
