Shorter College Music Faculty to Present an Evening of World-Class Music at Rome City Auditorium on Monday, Aug. 27
Shorter College’s music faculty will present an evening of world-class music at the Rome City Auditorium, 601 Broad St., Rome, on Monday, Aug. 27. The Music Faculty Celebration event, which begins at 7:30 p.m., is sponsored by the Rome News-Tribune and SunTrust. The performance will feature works by Beethoven, Mozart, Verdi, and many others, all performed by Shorter College’s stellar voice and keyboard faculty. Joining them for the concert will be the Chamber Players of the South Orchestra.
Tickets for the event are $12 for general admission or $8 for senior citizens and students. A limited number of reserved seats are available at a cost of $20 each. This event will showcase the remarkable talents of these individuals who are gifted performers as well as excellent teachers.”
