Shorter College Announces Spring Commencement
Dr. Jamil S. Zainaldin, president of the Georgia Humanities Council, will be the featured speaker at Shorter College’s 10 a.m. commencement exercises on Saturday, May 5. Mr. David Hankerson, county manager for Cobb County and member of the Shorter College Board of Visitors, will be the featured speaker at Shorter’s 2 p.m. commencement exercises, also on Saturday, May 5. Both ceremonies will be held in the college’s Winthrop-King Centre.
An estimated 180 students receiving the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Science in Education, Bachelor of Business Administration, the Master of Business Administration, and the Master of Arts will take part in the 10 a.m. ceremony. The
2 p.m. ceremony will include approximately 200 students receiving the Associate of Science in Business, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Management degrees.
