Davis Ministry Center director ‘passionate’ about equipping servants of Christ

Since its establishment in the 1990s, the Hugh F. Davis Center for Ministry Education has played a vital role in the college’s outreach to area ministers and local churches. Today, those efforts are gaining new momentum under the direction of Dr. Richard E. Bray, who was tapped to lead the center in November 2007.

In this role, he builds relationships with area churches and is responsible for planning ministerial training events and developing nontraditional educational programs for ministers.

“I was honored to join the Shorter family because it provides me with an opportunity to help individuals attain tools to become more effective ministers,” Dr. Bray said. “My passion is to see people become better-equipped servants of Christ.”
