Shorter alumni play a significant role in recruiting today’s prospective students. Now is a great time to promote the next Sunday at Shorter to students in your area. Show off your alma mater by encouraging a high school junior or senior to visit Shorter, meet with faculty members and tour the campus. |
On Sunday, March 7, the admissions office will host Sunday at Shorter. If you know someone considering Shorter (or if you want to convince someone to consider Shorter), have them e-mail Joan Blackwelder at jblackwelder@shorter.edu for the day’s schedule and additional information. Parents are also encouraged to attend.
Shorter hosting Master Class for musical theatre majors
On March 1, Shorter College musical theatre majors will get a chance to study with Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, an American composer/lyricist team from New York City. The Master Class program was created by the Shorter College Department of Music to give musical theatre majors an opportunity to coach their repertoire with top-flight individuals from Broadway Theatre. Students competitively audition for an opportunity to perform and work with the master teacher in a public forum.
The March 1 class is one of three classes being offered this year to Shorter students. |
